Editor apologizes for lack of posting recently. Too busy getting everything ready to head south.
But now, if you’ll click on the first link to your right, you’ll be able to view the awesome holiday lights display at the Shore Acres S.P. Gardens. Nine of our members met for an “Informal Gathering” near Coos Bay in order to attend this, and other area points of interest.
The “Lights” were definitely the main attraction. The gardens are huge — area wise, and each and every plant was decorated, plus there were other individual, artistic displays donated by organizations or businesses. One of the first things on everyone’s mind was, “How many people, spent how many hours putting this together?” The number had to have been unbelievable.
So, click on Link #01, and view the photos that can give you a small (very small) taste of how awesome this display was.

The 2010 Camping Season is officially over!
However. . . . the first luncheon will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16th at the Almost Home Restaurant in Salem. Yes, the luncheons have been moved from Woodburn to Salem this season.
The luncheons are an excellent way for the RV-ers who remain in Oregon to keep in touch with one another over the winter. They also afford a way for visitors to get acquainted without having to commit to an entire camp-out.
So, what do you say? Are you coming?

The last luncheon of the season was held on April 20th, with 23 in attendance!!!
Some of the “Snowbirds” had returned to the NW to add to those hearty souls who kept things going all winter.
Some of the “winter OR-LoW’s” arranged and attended an “off season” (and un-official) camp-out at Charleston Marina near Coos Bay. Photos of that can now be seen on the Photos page. More information about that and the upcoming C-O will be posted as soon as the Newsletter Editor can finish the NL and post it.
